MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Providing free support and advice to Veterinary Nurses and Students

We all go through difficult and challenging times and when we do, having access to a little information or a helping hand can make the difference between feeling unwell to feeling well.  Just like physical health needs, we need to care of our mental health needs.

We know that our community can benefit from having help and support at times and we all must look out for each other in times of need.  Sometimes we might notice that friends and colleagues are having difficulty coping and it can be difficult to know what to do.

If you feel that you or a friend is struggling please contact us or get in touch with any of the contact links we've shared here on this page by clicking the logos.  Every conversation will be treated as completely confidential.

The IVNA contribute to the funding of the Veterinary Assistance Programme in conjunction with the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund, a resource which offers confidential support services, free to veterinary professionals and their dependents.
