IVNU is a working group of registered Veterinary Nurses formed to represent and work towards safeguarding the interests and welfare of Irish Veterinary Nurses in employment. In 2018 the IVNU working group was adopted as a sub committee of the IVNA. This welcome merger of groups will unite the veterinary nursing profession further.

 

Our mutual aim is to improve pay and conditions for Irish Veterinary Nurses through the unionisation of the profession, seeking a fair and sustainable wage reflecting the legal and ethical responsibility the role of a Veterinary Nurse commands as well as seeking to improve current working conditions
