IVNA Awards
This year at the IVNA Annual Veterinary Nurses Congress we are delighted to host the presentation of the 4th annual Veterinary Nurse Awards. All veterinary nurses and support staff deal with many difficult and challenging tasks while in practice. This in itself deserves an award; however there are occasions where nurses go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that their patients and clients receive the utmost of special care and attention. Should you know someone who has made a contribution, which you think deserves recognition, nominate them for an award. The contribution can be an outstanding one or a simple gesture which you feel made a big difference to their patients, clients, or practice team. There are 3 categories for these awards. Registered Veterinary Nurse, Student Veterinary Nurse and Support Staff.

Terms & Conditions
The nominated person must be in one of the above categories and work in the Republic of Ireland. The Veterinary Nurse nominees must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland. The Student Veterinary Nurse nominees must be enrolled on one of the 5 accredited VN courses in the Republic of Ireland.
The closing date for entries is April 30, 2013. We can accept no responsibility for lost or delayed entries.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to this Award.
The winners of each category will be announced at the gala dinner at the IVNA Congress on May 25th 2013. Prizes are Gift Vouchers up to the value of €500. No cash alternatives will be offered.
The winners of the awards and the successful nominator for each winner will be notified by post by June 30, 2013.
A list of the winners will be supplied on request, enclosing a sae to the award organiser, Eilis Nichol,
to IVNA 13 The Courtyard, Kilcarbery Park, Dublin 22.
Prize winners consent to their names and photographs being used in IVNA or Royal Canin, Zoetis, Allianz promotional material.
Acceptance of the nomination deemed to be acceptance of the terms and conditions.
In the event of more than one person nominating the same veterinary nurse, one person nominating the winning nurse in each category will be chosen at random to receive the €50.00 gift voucher.
